Robert L. Benson

Robert L. Benson, 70, of Lansdale, died Wednesday, November 27, 2024.  He was the beloved husband of Pamela Noeldner, his wife of 40 years.

Born July 15, 1954 in Rochester, MN, he was a son of the late Calvin and Doris (Sorenson) Benson.

Mr. Benson began his career as a pilot with US Airways in 1986, retiring from American Airlines in 2019.  He was a member of various general aviation pilot organizations.

Bob graduated from the University of Minnesota and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Christine Benson and Katie Benson, both of Astoria, NY; and a brother, Richard Benson (Kathy) of Alaska.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Benson.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 W. Main St., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be private.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
