Robert D. Davis

Robert D. Davis, 68, of Langhorne, died Wednesday, December 4, 2024.  He was the longtime companion of Linda (Paul) Shackleton.

Born October 13, 1956 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Joanne (Critzer) and Charles E. Davis, Jr.

Mr. Davis worked as a contractor for many years.  He was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman, and Philly sports fan.

In addition to his companion, he is survived by his sons, Daniel A. Davis of Levittown, and Brian R. Davis (Emma Trapp) of Trenton, NJ; two step-daughters, Mandy Shackleton (Zachariah Whitehurst) and Katie Shackleton, both of Bensalem; his beloved grandson, Zach Whitehurst; brother, Paul Davis (Sylvia) of Philadelphia; and his former wife, Robin B. Barsky-Davis of Levittown.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles "Eddie" Davis III.

Relatives and friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Prayer Service at 2:30 p.m.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Rob's memory to the Women's Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
