Robert E. Dixon, Jr

Robert E. Dixon, Jr., aged 78, of Lansdale, passed away on June 4, 2026. Born on March 4, 1948, in Abington, PA, he was the beloved son of the late Robert E. Dixon, Sr and Cecilia (Charleton) Dixon. He was the devoted husband of Barbara E. (Ruppenthal) Dixon.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Barbara, and their three children: Heather Jeffries of Hatfield, Cara Mower and her husband Brian of Lansdale, and Robert E. Dixon III and his wife Mara of Manasquan. He was a cherished grandfather to Kaitlyn, Lauren, Rylin, Luke, Emma, and Isla, and a great-grandfather to Michael and Jason. He is also survived by his siblings, Jeffrey Dixon of State College and Holly Frick of Roselyn.

Bob was an avid follower of Penn State football, and enjoyed watching the Phillies also. He coached Little League for Nor Gwyn and coached basketball for TYA. He aslo loved Yum Yum donuts and taking his afternoon naps.

Services are private and are being handled by Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home in Lansdale.
