Robert "Bob" Evans, 95, of North Wales, PA passed away on October 4, 2025. Bob was born on June 12, 1930 in Kingston, PA, the son of the late Isaac and Mae (Vowler) Evans. He was the loving husband of June (White) Evans for more than 57 years, until her passing in 2013. He formerly resided in Lansdowne, PA.

Following his graduation from Kingston High school in 1948, he attended West Chester University and worked various jobs including a counselor at Camp Half Moon, a line service technician at Forty-Fort Airport and served active duty in the US Army for one year and the Army reserve for six years. In 1955, he moved to Upper Darby, PA in pursuit of permanent work. Shortly after landing a job with Bell Telephone as a lineman/deskman, he moved to Lansdowne, PA where he lived and worked for over forty years. In retirement he worked as a bus driver for Friends Central School and North Penn School District.

Bob was an avid sports fan, supporting the Cleveland Indians while growing up. Upon moving to the Philadelphia area, he adopted all the Philadelphia teams but was especially passionate about the Phillies. He also enjoyed watching/attending high school and college sports and especially enjoyed Penn State Wrestling and the UConn Women's basketball team. He loved kids and gave back to youth sports through coaching, umpiring and serving as president of the Lansdowne Boys Club. He was also active in the community as a member of the Union Athletic Association.

He had a great sense of humor and loved to make folks smile and laugh by telling stories, telling a joke or singing a song. He was beloved by many family members including nieces, nephews, siblings, cousins as well as friends and co-workers. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in passing by his wife June and siblings Kenneth Evans, Lenore Morris, James Evans and Jack Evans. Bob is survived by three children, Thomas R. Evans of Rifle, CO, Linda J. Evans of North Wales, PA and Timothy P. Evans of Havertown, PA.
