Robert "Rob" J. Shea

Robert "Rob" J. Shea of Worcester, PA passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022. He was the cherished husband of Amy O. Shea (Hassan).

Born February 1, 1962 in Boston, MA, he was the son of Maureen E. Shea (Elder) and the late James F. Shea.

As a retired Navy Commander, Rob began his career when he attended Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA where he was a member of the ROTC. He served eight years of active duty in Hawaii. After his time in the service, he moved to Boston, MA, and shortly thereafter attended Boston University where he received a Masters degree.

Above all, he was an exceptional and loving husband, father, brother, and son. He was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Additionally, he loved to play golf. Rob was quick to befriend and gave a smile to all who were fortunate to know him. Everyone around him always laughed and appreciated his dry, quick sense of humor.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters, Emily P. Shea of Los Angeles, CA and Alice I. Shea of Worcester, PA; his siblings, Mary Ellen Shea of Natick, MA and Patricia Wagner of Rumney, NH; and his nephews, James M. Wagner and Brian A. Wagner.

Relatives and friends may call between 4:00 and 6:00 PM Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446.

A second visitation will be between 9:30 and 10:45 AM Monday, August 1, 2022 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00. Private Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Natick, MA .
