Robert W. Phillips

Robert W. Phillips, aged 81, of Lansdale, passed away on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, to be with our Lord and Savior. Born on August 16th, 1944, in Lansdale, he was the beloved son of the late Ruth Lauer and Robert Joseph Phillips. Robert spent his entire life in Lansdale, where he was a  member of the First Baptist Church.

Robert was a devoted fan of the Phillies and Eagles, and he enjoyed playing baseball as a child. He cherished Friday nights spent at oldies dances at the North Wales Firehouse with his wife Linda, his brother Andy, and Andy's wife Philomena. In his youth, Robert and his brother Andy worked the concession stands at the Hatfield Speedway drag races.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army and later worked at Ruby's Plastics in Hatfield and Gasboy in Lansdale.

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Phillips; his son, Robert J. Phillips, and his partner Angel Goetter of Upper Dublin, PA; his brother, Raymond (Andy) Phillips,(late wife Philomena) of Lansdale; his sister, Ruthann Ziegler of Hatfield, PA; and his granddaughter, Vanessa Woodman, who was like a daughter to him. He also leaves behind many grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends starting at 9:30 am on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler.
