Robert H. Schaffer

Robert H. Schaffer, 82, of Lansdale, died Friday, February 6, 2026.  He was the beloved husband of Madeline "Lynn" (Vogel) Schaffer, who died March 26, 2016.

Born June 27, 1943 in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Jennie (Gilmer) and Thomas S. Schaffer, Sr.

Mr. Schaffer was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and longtime member of the Hatfield American Legion Post 933.  He was employed with Franke for many years before working with Fastener Tool & Supply and North Penn School District.  Earlier in life, he enjoyed playing softball, fishing, and hunting.

Survivors include his children, Brent J. Schaffer (Mary) of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Brenda L. Burner (Mike) of Lansdale; and six grandchildren, Tyler, Josh, Peyton, Savanna, Darin, and Austin.

He was preceded in death by 13 siblings.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. February 18, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Quakertown Union Cemetery.
