Ronald Henry Valle

July 22, 1934 — November 4, 2025

Ronald Henry Valle was born on July 22, 1934 at Hackensack Hospital, and passed away on November 4, 2025. In his fantastic 91 years, Ron touched the lives of everyone he met. He could barely pass through the hallways of Meadowood Senior living home without multiple people stopping him to talk, their faces lit up in conversation by his infectious personality and charisma.

Ron graduated from Hackensack High School as part of the class of 1953 and served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956, when he was honorably discharged. While serving, Ron befriended Jim Tobin, who introduced Ron to his sister, Lois Tobin. On June 17, 1961, Ron married Lois, the love of his life, in Saint Mary's Church in Rutherford, NJ, beginning a wonderful partnership that spanned over six decades.

After his time serving the country, Ron worked as a relay technician for PSEG, the North Jersey local utility company, from 1956 until 1994. Following his retirement, Ron and Lois built their dream retirement home in Manahawkin, NJ, where they lived for 21 years in a home that they filled with love, laughter, and priceless family memories. Lois now survives Ron as she continues to live in Meadowood Senior Living Facility, where the couple moved in 2017.

For much of his adult life, Ron was a member of the Brewers Athletic Club, where he and Lois enjoyed many club events and vacations.  Ron also played third base on the team's weekly softball game. He would bring his three sons along on these outings so that they could socialize on the sidelines, drinking sodas and watching their father play. Ron was a Life Member of the American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park, NJ, and served as Treasurer for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 164. No matter what Ron was doing, he participated with determination, pride, and quick wit. Even in his final days, he maintained the natural ability to make friends no matter where he was, as people just gravitated towards his kind and comedic energy.

In addition to Lois, Ron is survived by his three children, Chris, Kevin, and Jeffrey Valle, and their spouses Mary, Jacqueline, and Denise Valle. Ron's memory also lives on through his seven grandchildren, Colleen, Amanda, Blake, Kayla, Brady, Emma, and Tia Valle. Ron is predeceased by his parents Henry and Edna Valle, and his siblings Evelyn McErlane and Bob Valle.

All of Ron's family had made immense effort to be as present as possible, a skill that they undoubtedly learned from him, as he was always determined to celebrate holidays, birthdays, football games, or even just any afternoon with those he loved. He will be missed dearly by everyone whose life he touched, especially the staff at Meadowood and the friends that lived there with him.
