Rose E. Ricciardi

Rose Ricciardi (Schenkel) died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 10, 2024, after a long illness. She was the third child of Emilie (Oertel) and Oskar Schenkel born on October 18, 1940. Rose is survived by her three children, Richard, Rita and Ray plus her grand dog, Baxter. Rose's grandchildren, Katie and Ryan were much loved by Granny.

Rose is predeceased by her parents and brother Adolf. She will be missed by her sisters Irma (Dallmer) and Emily(Kinney) and her nieces and nephews.

Rose was a devoted mom and granny who loved spending time with family – travelling each Fall "leaf peeping", driving to 4am hockey practices, attending various sports activities and school productions, and dining out. Rose looked forward to "date night" outings with her grandkids.

She enjoyed singing and was a member of her church choir for many years. Rose had a quick wit and could always be counted on to speak her mind.

Funeral arrangements will be private. Donations in her honor may be made to the Women's Animal Center in Bensalem, PA.
