Rosemarie Krause

September 20, 1941 — April 10, 2025

Rosemarie Krause, 83, of Lansdale, died Thursday, April 10, 2025.

Born September 20, 1941, in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Heinz and Franziska (Hierl) Schnell.

Rosemarie was employed throughout her career as an executive assistant, retiring from Merck.  She was a longtime parishioner of St. Stanislaus Church, Lansdale, and was the cook at Corpus Christi Church for many years.

Rosemarie enjoyed skiing both in the Poconos and Europe and was also an avid volleyball player in her younger years.

Cooking was one of her favorite pastimes and she enjoyed cooking for those she loved.  Her french toast and pancakes were a family favorite.  She also loved eating food.  Breakfast was her favorite meal of the day, especially Eggs Benedict.

But her favorite activity was spending time with family and friends.  She adored her family especially her four grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as G-mom.  Some of the best times were spent as a family in the Outer Banks of North Carolina renting beach houses so that we could all be together.

Her friends were also a very important part of her life.  For many years, she was a member of a beach house in Avalon, NJ, where she enjoyed time with friends.  She also played cards weekly with friends who loved the game as much as her.  Her favorite game was Pinochle.  And then of course there was her "Breakfast Club," dear friends who met often for her favorite meal of the day.

Rosemarie loved life and enjoyed every minute of it, always smiling and laughing.

Survivors include her sons, Anthony R. Krause (Janine Schwartz) of Phoenixville, and Edward Krause (Cheryl) of Lansdale; and four grandchildren, Ryan Krause (Lauren Reinhardt), Andrew Krause, Robert Krause, and Jason Krause.

Relatives and friends may call after 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Prayer Service at 2:00 p.m.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Rosemarie's memory to St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, or to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
