Ruth E. Mumbauer

Ruth E. Mumbauer, 89, of Hatfield, died Friday, November 1, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of Russell Y. Mumbauer, her husband of 69 years.

Born March 4, 1935 in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Williamson) Emerson.

Mrs. Mumbauer was a member of Montgomery Square United Methodist Church for over 60 years.  She was employed with North Penn School District in their food service department for 23 years, retiring in the early 2000s.  Ruth was also an avid seamstress and crafter.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Bonny M. Millar (Robin J.) of Wales, UK, and Paul D. Mumbauer (Vera) of Orwigsburg, PA; two granddaughters, Sophia and Elizabeth; and a brother, Raymond Emerson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Emerson; and two sisters, Bette Blattner and Marian Gianguilio.

Funeral services will be held privately and are under the direction of the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Ruth's memory to Montgomery Square United Methodist Church, 1900 County Line Road, North Wales, PA 19454.
