Ruth E. Pijanowski

Ruth E. Pijanowski, 93, of Lansdale, died Sunday, May 10, 2026.  She was the beloved wife of Edward S. Pijanowski, her husband of 73 years.

Born August 15, 1932 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth (Quering) Pickering.

Mrs. Pijanowski was a dedicated homemaker who loved caring for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Earlier in life, she was an avid bowler and fan of Gone with the Wind.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Janice C. Hoch of North Wales, Joyce L. McClay (Scott) of North Wales, Steven E. Pijanowski of Royersford, and Lawrence T. Pijanowski (Lori) of Ambler; 12 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and her brother, Robert Pickering (Patricia) of Venice, FL.

Relatives and friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 15, 2026 at Dock Woods Community Chapel, 275 Dock Drive, Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will be private.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
