Sally Maccord

Sally L. (Northrop) MacCord, 90, wife of the late Jack G. MacCord, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at her home in Lansdale.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late David D. and Ruth L. (Hipelius) Northrop.

Sally was an incredible woman and mother, with a silly sassiness all of her own.  She was a blessed child of Christ who is now at home in the arms of our loving Lord.  She enjoyed serving as a care giver to people of all generations, starting with spending special time with her Mother who suffered from Multiple Sclerosis (MS).  She cared for her children and then many other children at her home day care center. She loved her grandchildren and future generations.  She enjoyed spending time with her friend, catching up and laughing with them.  She adored animals, especially dogs.  She also enjoyed sharing her talent as a seamstress, making infant and children' s bibs, and adult shirt protectors.

Surviving are her children Maria Lund, wife of Jake, Michael MacCord, husband of Amy, Patti Clemens, wife of Steve, Cathy Lamb, and Lori MacCord; sisters Mary Walker (late Bill) and Betty Hughes (late Rich); and 25 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  Along with her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her brothers Paul and David Northrop.

Visitation will be Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10:00AM to 10:45Am at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 615 Cowpath Road, Montgomeryville with a funeral service to begin at 11:00AM. Burial will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
