Shawn Carvin

Shawn Edward Carvin Sr. was born on June 16, 1972 in Philadelphia. His legacy is remembered as a devoted father, husband, brother, and friend. Shawn enlisted in the Marine Corps during Operation Desert Storm to face our nation's biggest threats, and to preserve the great freedoms of all Americans. He later pursued his passions in the Information Technology field, and served as the Director of Network Services at Cigna Healthcare. His ultimate battle was later in life, as he was diagnosed with ALS. Shawn's war lasted for 6 years: end of watch is March 15, 2024. He is survived by his 5 children; Nickolas Ryan Rotherham, Shawn Edward Carvin Jr., Kyle Michael Carvin, Tyler Joseph Carvin, and Alina Anna Carvin. We all want to express our great love for him. He was a great man that truly cannot be replaced. You can rest now dad. We will take the watch from here.

Survivors include; his wife, Lisa Carvin; his four sons, Kyle Carvin (Kaitlyn), Tyler Carvin, Nick Rotherham (Tera) and Shawn Carvin Jr.; his daughter Alina Carvin; and his grandchildren, Charlie, Blake, Ryan, Ronin, Michael, and Jason.

The family will be receiving guests on Friday, March 22 at 1:00 PM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
