Soon Ja Chung

Soon Ja Chung, 80, of Harleysville, PA, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, at her residence.

She was the loving wife of Chung Yup Chung.

Born February 17, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Doo-Hyun Jo and Gye-Hwa Chung.

Soon was a member of Montgomery Presbyterian Church, where she was Kwon-sa.  In her leisure time, she took pleasure in swimming, singing, and admiring the beauty of flowers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Justine Chung (Richard); her three sons, Kiho Chung (Heather), Ki Myung Chung, and Chi Myung Chung (Insoon); her grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, and Ezra; and her siblings, Moon-Seop, Kyung-Seop, Sung-Seop, Jin-Seop, and Shin-Ja.

She is preceded in death by her sibling Ji-Seop.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park.

Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
