Sophia Cossman

Sophia G. Cossman, 90, of Hatfield, PA passed away on April 23, 2026.

She was born on August 10, 1935 in Glasglow, Scotland to the late Charles and Margaret (McBride) Gallagher.

After high school, she attended nursing school and worked for many years as a nurse.

She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her five children, Eamon Cossman of Hatfield, PA, Margaret M. Cossman of Hatfield, PA, Sophia Alletto (Phil) of Tybee Island, GA, Marie Ward of Perkasie, and Charles Cossman (Bonnie) of Sellersville, PA; ten-grandchildren, Kiersten, James, Danielle, Shauna, Catriona, Daniel, Theresa, Jonathan, Luke, and Michael; and six great-grandchildren, Elizabeth J., Noah, Sophia, Aubrey, Elizabeth K., and Colton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Cossman in 2025.

Sophia's funeral mass and interment will be held privately by the family.
