Stephen F. Duffy, 64, of Hatfield, husband of Thomas J. Coyne for 18 years, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James and Isabel (Dougherty) Duffy.

Stephen was a member of Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church in North Wales. He was a 1980 graduate of Fr. Judge High School, received his undergraduate degree from La Salle University in 1984 and received his master’s in management of information systems from Penn State in 1998. He and Tom would volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Manna on Main Street and in his spare time, Stephen enjoyed reading.

Surviving with his husband are siblings Kathleen Gostomski, wife of Arnold, Margaret Thomas, Elizabeth Berlin, wife of Norman, Patricia West, wife of Christopher, Anthony Duffy, husband of Sun-Ok, James Duffy, husband of Barbara, and Joseph Duffy. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 10:00am to 10:45am at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Rd, North Wales, with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00am. Burial will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
