Susan Camburn Clarke

Susan Camburn Clarke, 83, of Lansdale, beloved wife of Roger S. Clarke Jr., passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 12, 2026, following a brief illness.

Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Edward and Doris Anna (Parsons) Camburn.

Susan was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Ambler. For more than 20 years, she served as a compassionate home health care provider with North Penn Visiting Nurses. Caring for others was not just her profession, it was her calling. She touched countless lives with her kindness, patience, and generous spirit.

In her free time, Susan found joy in crocheting, cooking, gardening, and playing cards with friends. She cherished time spent with her family and loved ones. Sullivan County, PA, held a special place in her heart. A place where her parents retired and where she and Roger shared many treasured memories at their home and at their cabin.

In addition to her devoted husband of 64 years, Susan is survived by her children, John D. Clarke (Bette Jean) and Heidi Godshall (the late Doug), both of Lansdale; her brother, John E. Camburn Jr. of Tunkhannock, PA; her grandchildren, Andrea Haines (Dan Evans) of Albuquerque, NM, Melissa Haines-Lee (Ezra) of Aston, PA, Kelly Clarke, and Jakob Clarke (Caitlin), both of Hatfield, PA; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Adam, Kara, Daemon, Kaci, Jakob Jr., and Colin.

Along with her parents and son-in-law, she was predeceased by her sister, Linda Brown.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 2, 2026, from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
