Susan C. Korpa

Susan C. Korpa, 65, of Lansdale, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at her residence.

She was the loving companion of William Iochum.

Born August 14, 1959, she was a daughter of the late John and Virginia (Cyton) McGrath.

Throughout her life, Susan had a great fondness for nature and the outdoors.  She enjoyed riding her bike and listening to the sounds of the birds.  With a degree in horticulture, tending to her garden was always a way for her to find peace and joy.  Susan also loved travelling with family and friends, and she was always eager to explore the world around her.  Those that knew her best knew that she always put the needs of others before herself and would be quick to lend a hand to anyone that needed it.  A lover of all animals, she made frequent donations to the local animal shelters in her community.

Susan held a special place in her heart for her beloved canine companion Leo, who passed away in January of 2025.

Susan is survived by her two sons, Michael and Lukas Korpa; her sister, Virginia Dearolf; and her two brothers, Jim and Bruce McGrath.

She is preceded in death by her brother, John McGrath.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446.  A memorial service will begin at 10:30 AM.

Family and friends are encouraged to have flowers delivered to the funeral home the day before the service.
