Susan J. Smolin

Susan J. Smolin, 62, of Quakertown, passed away on March 7, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Frank S. Smolin.

Born on May 23, 1962, in Sellersville, Susan was the cherished daughter of Joan (Moyer) Johnson of Hilltown, and the late Ernest Johnson.

Susan, affectionately known as Sue, dedicated over 40 years of her life working at Golden Scissors in Lansdale. She had a passion for cooking for her family and friends, gardening and meticulously caring for her property, and decorating her home. Sue was also a proud member of Indian Valley Hog and found great joy in riding with her husband on their motorcycle. Her favorite pastime included taking long road trips with her husband, Frank, on their bike.

In addition to her husband and mother, Susan is survived by two children, Rachel Moyer (married to Marvin) of Trexlertown, PA, and Zachary Smolin of Emmaus. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Justin and Kayli Blake; her brothers, David Johnson of Sellersville and Dennis Johnson of Hilltown, along with several nieces and nephews, and her dear canine companion, Riley, who will miss her deeply.

The family will receive friends starting at 9:30 am on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at St. Peters Lutheran Church, located at 1530 Augsburg Dr, Hilltown Township, PA 18927. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.

Susan J. Smolin will be remembered for her warm heart, her dedication to her loved ones, and her zest for life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
