Susan Weber, age 50, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, July 27, 2026.
She is survived by her mother Gail (Tannler) Weber and father David. She is also survived by a brother Steven, and her sister Lisa. A niece, Jayme and a nephew, Jacob, along with aunts and uncles, cousins, and a multitude of friends, make up the world she so deeply touched. Susan was a 5th grade teacher in Aston Elementary School for 28 years. In her early years of life she was involved with many sports activities such as softball, swimming, and field hockey. She played field hockey through her college years for Indiana University of PA where she was also invited to be the athletic representative to the President's council on athletics at the university. All of this led to her very successful teaching career. She is fondly remembered by students from 20 years ago to those whom she guided until this year.
In addition to sports, Susan participated in organizations such as the Appalachia Service Project, repairing homes in the Central Appalachian region along with teams of youth from Trinity Lutheran Church. Some years Susan traveled north to work with native children in the Northwest Territories of Canada and villages above the artic citcle through the On Eagle's Wings organization based in Edmonton and Trinity. Susan's love of travel found her rafting the Grand Canyon, hiking the Canadian Rockies, kayaking, or traveling cross country and actually making new friends on the way.
All are invited to her Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 W. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446.
