Teresa Parris

Teresa Kay (Templeton) Parris, 77, passed away peacefully in her Schwenksville home on January 2, 2025, knowing the love of her friends and family. "Terry" leaves behind her husband of 34 years, George Jeffrey Parris.

Born September 5, 1947 in Iowa in to the late Robert and Jeanne Templeton, Terry moved to Pennsylvania in 1978, thanks to the military. More than anything, she was an amazing mom, raising her two daughters, Angie and Deb, with love and care. She cherished spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Terry also enjoyed a successful career in advertising and marketing at Drexelbrook Engineering, where she met her husband, Jeff, and later concluded her career at Siemens.

After retirement, Terry became an active member of her church, serving on various committees and volunteering at the Shepherd's Shelf and Manna on Main Street.

Her parents instilled in her a love for travel, and Cabo San Lucas was her happy place, where she made cherished memories with Jeff and friends. Terry also shared many adventures with Deb and Joe's family throughout Europe and enjoyed special trips with Angie, George, and her grandsons.

Terry also loved to golf, play fantasy football, and walk the Perkiomen Trail. She was known for hosting wonderful parties and eating out at nice restaurants, with Parc Bistro in Skippack being her favorite.

In addition to her husband and daughters, she is survived by four grandchildren, Brayden, Ryan, Chelsea, and Alec; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob Templeton (Gretchen) of Madison, WI, and Brent Templeton (Luanne) of New Mexico; and her sister, Gwen Harshfield of Indiana.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2211 Mainland Road, Harleysville, PA followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will be private.
