Therese Marie Johnson, 80, of the Souderton Mennonite Homes, died Saturday, June 24, 2023.

Born September 4, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Ellen (Lavin) Johnson.

She was a parishioner at Corpus Christi Church, Lansdale.

During the presidency of John F Kennedy, Therese Johnson worked at Bishop McDevitt High School working in the office. McDevitt was not Therese's only passion. Throughout her life Therese donated her time and treasure to many faith-filled organizations; St Luke the Evangelist Church, The Miraculous Medal Society, America Needs Fatima - a campaign for the defense of Tradition and the Family and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Therese worked at McDevitt through the Obama presidency – 50 years and 8 months. When she was a resident at Souderton Mennonite Community she regals her many friends with wonderful stories of her time at McDevitt. Therese was very devoted to her catholic faith.

The family will receive friends starting 10 A.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, with the Prayer Service at 10:30 A.M. Burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
