Thomas E. May

Thomas E. May, 89, of Lansdale and a longtime former resident of Alexandria, VA, died Wednesday, August 27, 2025.  He was the beloved husband of the late Elsie (Lease) May, who died December 16, 2024.

Born May 27, 1936 in Bedford, PA, he was a son of the late Coy and Stella (Smith) May.

Mr. May was a proud veteran of the United States Army and graduate of the University of Maryland.  He was employed as the Director of Printing and Graphics at the United States Treasury.  Later, he worked as a consultant where, among other responsibilities, he helped develop foreign currencies.

Tom was an avid golfer and DC sports fan.

Survivors include 11 nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert May and a sister, Virginia May.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440 followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Lansdale.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
