Thomas P. Mcvaugh

Thomas P. McVaugh, 62, passed away peacefully at the home of his friend Jennifer in Hatfield, where he resided, on Thursday, November 21, 2024. He was the loving partner of Valerie Jock Brooks, who predeceased him.

Born in Horsham, PA, he was a son of the late Robert and Eileen (McKee) McVaugh.

Thomas was a former member of St. Agnes Parish in Sellersville. He was known as "The Music Man" amongst his friends for his love of karaoke. He enjoyed spending time on Sodus Bay, boating with friends and family, group Motorcycle rides, and meeting new people, but above all, he cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren and canine friend Daisy.

Thomas is survived by his children, Matthew McVaugh (wife Tara) and their children Cole (wife Hannah) and their child Sylvia, Chase, Quinn, Shaelyn, Genevieve and Amelia, Kelly Teel (husband Aaron Teel) their children Grayson and Ella, Sara Ertel (husband Luke Ertel) and their children Thea, Rowan and Nova, and David McVaugh (wife Emily) and their children Noah and Leah. Thomas is also survived by his siblings Michael McVaugh (wife Luanne), Robert McVaugh (wife Christine), and Joan McVaugh.

A visitation will be held between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 30, 2024 at St. Maria Goretti Parish, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA, followed by the Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m.  Burial services will be held privately.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

In the past year Tom found friendship and assistance through the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Hatfield.
