Thomas A. Smallwood

Thomas A. Smallwood, 87, of Hatfield, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 in Park Creek Place, North Wales.

He was the husband of Donna (nee Jansen) Smallwood.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John & Bernadette (nee Gill) Smallwood.

Mr. Smallwood was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War. Following his service, he was a life member of the North Penn Volunteer Fire Company, North Wales and the Montgomery County Fire Police Association. Tom made many great memories during his time spent at the fire house. He also enjoyed watching professional wrestling and spending time with his grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his playful personality and many jokes, and will be missed dearly.

Surviving Tom, in addition to his wife Donna, are his children, Thomas J. Smallwood (Lori), of North Wales; Jeff Smallwood, of Hatfield; his grandchildren, Christian, Alexa, and Gabriella Smallwood, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may gather on Sunday, December 9 from 12 – 3 p.m. in the North Penn Volunteer Fire Company, 141 S. Main Street, North Wales, PA 19454, to celebrate his life. Interment will be held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
