Timothy P. Wile

Timothy P. Wile, 72, of Lansdale, died Sunday, October 12, 2025.  He was the beloved husband of Leora (Peterson) Wile, his wife of 40 years.

Born December 7, 1952 in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Herbert and Ellen (Macinskas) Wile.

Mr. Wile graduated from Penn State with a degree in political science and later earned his law degree from the University of North Dakota.  He retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of honorable service, and he worked as an attorney in various fields.  His legal career included service at PennDOT where he authored books on Pennsylvania DUI laws and probation and parole as well as serving as the Montgomery County Chief of Appeals, retiring in 2018

An Eagle Scout, Tim was an avid scouter who especially enjoyed Sea Scouting.  He also loved antique cars and collecting trains.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Theresa Wile of Lansdale; son, Zachary Wile (Fawn Liberto) of Lansdale; three grandchildren, Peyton Lugo, Raquel Lugo, and Rae Wile; and his brother, Randy Wile.

Relatives and friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be private in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
