Urbano "Jerry" Rutigliano

June 13, 1947 — November 25, 2025

Urbano "Jerry" Rutigliano, 78, of Ambler, PA and formerly of Sarasota/Bradenton, FL, died Tuesday, November 25, 2025.  He was the beloved husband of Karen (Diamond) "Cookie" Rutigliano.

Born June 13, 1947 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Anthony Rutigliano and Sarah (Perri) Micucci.

Jerry was a loving husband, devoted father, and proud Pop Pop whose greatest joy in life came from the family he cherished. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, he carried with him a warm spirit, a strong work ethic, and a deep appreciation for the people and places that shaped him.

An avid golfer, Jerry found tremendous happiness living at Tara Golf & Country Club in Florida, where he formed lasting friendships and spent countless days on the course he loved. His passion for people and business guided much of his professional life. He spent many years in the automobile industry, eventually owning VIP Mitsubishi dealership in Sarasota. Later, he embarked on a successful career as a financial advisor, serving families and individuals throughout Florida's west coast with dedication and integrity.

Above all else, Jerry's heart belonged to his family. Nothing meant more to him than being "Pop Pop" to his five grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with love, laughter, and unwavering pride.

Jerry will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, his quick wit, and the love he shared so freely. His presence will be deeply missed, but the impact of his life will continue to be felt by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Anthony Rutigliano of Ashton, PA, and Valerie Mele (Dino) of Ambler; his son-in-law, Scott Beagle of Florida; four grandchildren, Nick Rutigliano, Joanna Beagle, Olivia Mele, and Amelia Mele; his brother, Anthony Rutigliano (late Nancy) of New Jersey; and a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Rutigliano Isrig; and grandson, Matthew Beagle.

Funeral services are private and under the direction of the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
