Valerie Sinacore

Valerie Sinacore, 71, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA. She was the loving wife of 40 years to Gary Sinacore.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Michael Panunto, Sr., and Josephine (Giardina) Panunto.

Val, as she was known fondly by many friends and family members, was a loving and giving woman. She worked over 30 years as a special education English teacher with the North Penn School District, where she also served as Theater Advisor for the Green Room Club. She was heavily involved in many clubs and organizations, a few of which included the AAUW Book Club, a social French club, and the Letitia Penn Doll Club. In her free time she enjoyed traveling with her husband, Gary, reading, and going to the theater. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Michele Sinacore (husband Luca Meacci); grandchildren Leonardo Meacci, and Josephine Meacci; along with many cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held from 9:30am-10:45am on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at the Corpus Christi Church, Lansdale. Her funeral mass will begin at 11:00am.

Burial services will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Lansdale.
