Vernon R. Franks

Vernon R. Franks, 80, of Lansdale, passed away on July 8, 2022. Mr. Franks was the loving husband of Patricia Nornhold Franks.

Vernon was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Eugene R. and Veronica Franks. He was a baseball star at Cleveland Heights High School, where he was noted for his pitching. He continued to play baseball in college and was even approached by the Cleveland Indians farm team to be recruited.

After college he started his own business, The Franks Group, where he worked representing several leading manufacturing groups.

Vern was very proud of his three sons and wife who all served their country in the military.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ralph Franks.

Along with his wife Vernon is survived by his sons: Robert Franks (Josephine) of Anaconda, MT, Douglas Franks of Royersford, PA, Brad Franks (Cassie) of Beaverton, OR; grandchildren, Nathalie, Hayden, Colleen, Stephen, Adam; brothers: Ronald E. Franks (Judy) of McHenry, IL, James Murphy (Ginger) of Mentor, OH; and sister-in-law: Bonnie Franks of Burton, OH.

Services will be held privately at the request of the family.
