Vincent John Simmonds, Sr.

Vincent John Simmonds, Sr., Passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington. He was the loving husband of 58 years to the late Sharon Simmonds, who passed away in 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Raymond Simmonds Sr., and Jeanette (Carbone) Simmonds.

Vincent was a skilled woodworker, and enjoyed making many art pieces for his friends and family. He was also very proud of his yard, which he enjoyed tending to often. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Steven Simmonds (Jennifer), and Alyssa Mack; grandchildren Sarah, Dakota, Cayle, Ashely, Renee, Austin, Natalie, and Maddy; great grandchild Aiden, and siblings Michele Jacquot and Michael Spagnolia.
In addition to his wife, Sharon, he is predeceased by his son, Vincent Simmonds Jr., and brother Raymond Simmonds Jr.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 at the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale from 2:00-3:00pm, with a memorial service to begin at 3:00pm.

Burial services will be held privately.
