Walt H. Garner
October 9, 1922 — March 26, 2017
Walt H. Garner, 94, of Lansdale, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Kerstan) Garner (1981).
Walt had worked for Moore Products retiring in 1992.
He was a proud and honorable veteran of WW II serving in the Army, and a member of the VFW Post 32 and American Legion Post 206, both of Lansdale. Some of the things he enjoyed were listening to country music and traveling to Disney World.
Most of all he will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and his knack of making people smile.
He is survived by his very close and loving friend Michele Belair, and family, of Sellersville, along with friends Mark and Susan Rother, Perkasie.
Preceded in death by two siblings, Donald C. Garner (2001), and Claire Natalie Garner (2002).
Friends will be received starting 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, with funeral services, along with military honors, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Philadelphia.
