William E. "Billy" Reed, Iii

William E. "Billy" Reed, III, 59, of Fairview Village, PA passed away suddenly on October 15, 2015 at his home. Born on June 4, 1956 in Abington, PA, he was the son of Elizabeth (nee Conolly) Hancock Hansley of Harleysville, and the late William E. Reed.

Billy was a co-owner of Reed's in Blue Bell, PA for over 30 years along with his brother Jay, and also a co-owner of the Trappe Tavern in Trappe, PA for many years with his brother Jay, and his brother-in-law Dave Duryea, where he made numerous friends, celebrated a lot of great nights, and helped many people along the way. He was an avid sports enthusiast of all the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Flyers. Billy really enjoyed vacationing in Florida, and deep sea fishing while he was there. He will always be remembered as a loving dad, pop-pop, son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend.

Billy is also survived by his step-mother, Dorothy Reed, of Fairview Village, his children, Holly Henning (Paul), of Hatfield, and William J. Reed, of Fairview Village, his grandchildren, Julianna, Natalee, and Easton Henning, and his sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and many friends too numerous to count.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon at Fairview Village Church, 3044 W. Germantown Pike, Eagleville, PA 19403 where a Celebration of Billy's life will be held at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Billy's name can be made to a charity of the donor's choice which would be deeply appreciated by his family.
