William M. Diamond

William M. Diamond, 75, of North Wales, husband of Judith (Clifford) Diamond, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday December 7 th .

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William and Anna (Baier) Diamond.

William was a US Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was a former commander of VFW Post 153 in Philadelphia, member of the Richard Vaux Brotherhood Lodge No. 126, and a longtime singer with several Philadelphia based a cappella groups.

Surviving with his wife of 52 years are children Christopher Diamond, husband of Julie, Daniel Diamond, husband of Melanie, and Kelly Ann Diamond; siblings Michael Diamond, husband of Sharon, Marianne Williams, wife of Rick, and brother in law to Jim and Sharon Nichols, and Robin and Kathleen Hammitt; beloved grandfather of 8, great grandfather of 1 and uncle to many nieces and nephews, and cousin to many.  Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Kathryn Keith, wife of Robert Keith.

A celebration of William's life will be Monday, December 12, 3:30PM at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, with visitation from 2:00PM to 3:30PM. A Masonic service will be held prior to the start of the service and military honors will be rendered at the completion of the service.
