William J. Jennings, Jr., 86, of North Wales, died Wednesday, March 18, 2026. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Louise (Rever) Jennings, who died April 6, 2018.
Born April 5, 1939 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Florence (Reilly) and William J. Jennings, Sr.
Mr. Jennings was employed as a truck driver for many years. He had many hobbies, including hunting, playing cards, and boating. Above all else, he will be remembered for his dedication to his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Thomas Jennings of Bethlehem, PA, Teresa M. Schupp (Charles) of Doylestown, and Mary Lou Welhaf (Richard) of Colmar; his daughter-in-law, Judy Jennings of Sellersville; eight grandchildren, Christopher Jennings (Kari), Olivia McCloskey (Sean), Ryan Schupp, Sydney Schupp, Christine Welhaf (Josh), Richard Welhaf (Brittnay), Joseph Welhaf, and Jason Welhaf; and seven great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Emily, Olivia, Lily, Noah, Owen, and Sadie.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Jennings III; and brother, George Mennig.
Relatives and friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Prayer Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Bucks County SPCA, PO Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
