William V. Maile, Jr.

William V. Maile, Jr., 87, of Lansdale, died Friday, May 23, 2025.  He was the husband of the late Jeanne A. Maile, who died August 12, 2017.

Born August 31, 1937 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Mary (DiNapoli) and William V. Maile, Sr.

Mr. Maile was employed with the Reading Railroad for 43 years, retiring in 1999.  He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, and he loved going to the casinos and the horse track.  Above all else, he will be remembered for his dedication to his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Joan Hager (Mark), Vincent Maile (Stacie), and David Maile (Heather), all of Lansdale; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Maile.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. June 14, 2025 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, followed by the Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be private.
