William T. Schmidt, Jr

William T. Schmidt, Jr, aged 72, of Lower Salford, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on September 21, 1953, in Lansdale, PA, he was the son of the late William T. Schmidt, Sr and Dorothy Baker Long.

He is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey C. Schmidt of Harleysville and Kyle A. Schmidt and his wife Meghan of Telford; his beloved grandchildren, Liebe and Alois; his siblings, Deborah Clark and Dorothy Fowler of Norristown, Thomas E. Schmidt, Sr of Telford, and Michael S. Schmidt, Sr of Harleysville; and his significant longtime partner, Kathleen Van Ness. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, located at 701 Destine Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446.

A second visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 am onThursday, April 23, 2026, at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Burial will be private.
