William Shields

William Shields, 77, of Hatfield, died Monday, October 26, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Lucy (Perry) Shields, his wife of 51 years.

Born June 3, 1949 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Frederick and Marian (Thompkins) Shields.

Mr. Shields was employed as a carpenter with McNeil Pharmaceuticals for many years. He as a longtime member of the Mount Union Rod and Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Perry Shields (Regina) of Allentown, and Victoria Shields of Lansdale; and his grandson, Jackson Shields.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Shields.

Relatives and friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 W. Main St., Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
