William Edward Smith, Jr.

William Edward Smith, Jr. passed away on October 21, 2026.

William was born on July 3, 1945 in Des Moines, Iowa to the late William and Marianne (Kauffman) Smith.

He worked as a Social Studies teacher for 32 years at Neshaminy High School. Bill also coached Golf, Cross Country and Track. After retirement he continued to serve as an official in Cross Country and Track meets throughout Bucks County. He was very active in the Neshaminy Federation of Teachers. Serving as Treasurer, Vice-President and Chief Negotiator over the years. In Retired years he was very active in the Neshaminy Retired Teachers Organization, the NFTR.

William was an incredible golfer, enjoyed a good poker game, and liked having lunch with his good friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Darby Jo Mazzarisi (Ted); three grandchildren, Mackenzie, John, and Addison; his older brother, Richard Smith; and his younger brother, Robert Smith.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
