Sara "Sally" M. Warren

November 15, 1947 — January 13, 2013

Sara M. "Sally" Warren, 65, of Chalfont passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 peacefully at her home. She was the beloved wife of Barry G. Warren, her
husband of 42 years.

Born November 15, 1947, Sally was the daughter of the late William J. and Frances (Morgan) Shaw.
Sally, also known as Mimi (a name given to her by her first grandchild), attended First Baptist Church of Doylestown where she was active in the Women's Ministries and loved to attend the annual Ladies Retreat and Christmas Tea.

Mimi was so very bright and light-hearted as anyone who ever received a card from her or a lap filled with confetti would know.

During Mimi's journey with Jesus, as she called her two-year battle with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer, her spirits were always high! Her goal remained, to the last day, that people would remember her for the witness that she was, always trying to shine her glowing "Light" towards Jesus!

Mimi's prayer would be that all reading this would have a personal relationship with the one she had loved so very much -- her savior (in Life Eternal) and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Her favorite verse was Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." How fitting this verse was during her two year journey with Jesus.

Though she will be extremely missed here on earth, her family left behind also rejoices that she now sits wrapped up in the arms of her "Papa" Jesus and suffers no more!!

Sally leaves behind two sons, Christopher J. Warren and his wife, Tina of Horsham, Scott M. Warren and his wife, Lindsay of Omaha, NE; and four grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Sally's Memorial Service, 7PM Thursday, January 17, 2013 at First Baptist Church, 311 W. State Street Doylestown, PA 18901. Interment is private. Arrangements are by Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
