Frank J. Monzo

Frank J. Monzo, 56, of Collegeville, passed away February 16, 2013 at Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. He is survived by his beloved wife, Karen (Keil) Monzo.

Born January 25, 1957 in Lansdale, Frank was a son of the late Francis A. and Rose (Donato) Monzo.

Frank was a graduate and senior class president of Lansdale Catholic High School, Class of 1975. He attended LaSalle University, where he earned a B.S. in Finance in 1979 and went on to serve as vice president of portfolio management for CIT Corporation in New Jersey.

Mr. Monzo was a member of St. Marys in Schwenksville, and he loved coaching sports for St. Marys and Central Perkiomen. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and also enjoyed golfing.

Above all else, Mr. Monzo cherished being a husband and father; he will be greatly missed by his family.

In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by a son, Frank A. Monzo of Collegeville; two sisters, Angela M. Bresadola and her husband, Andrew, of Harleysville, and Marianne Monzo of Harleysville; and his brother, Joseph P. Monzo and his wife, Mary, of Flourtown. He is also survived by his aunt, Marie Donato of Lansdale; and nieces and nephews.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at St. Marys Church, 40 Spring Mt. Rd., Schwenksville, PA 19473, where friends may greet the family after 10 AM. Interment will follow in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
