Mary K. Schroy, 100, of Hatfield, passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015. She was the wife of the late Kermit A. Schroy who died August 18, 1961.
Born October 30, 1914 in Letts, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Elbert E. and Ora Mae (Watkins) McCammon.
Mary had retired from Merck & Company after 20 years of service working as a legal secretary. She was a WAC in World War II where she met her husband. Mary was a member of Heidelberg UCC, Hatfield.
She is survived by a son Dr. Carter B. Schroy and wife, Mary C., of Del Mar, CA, and a daughter Candace B. Stasen and husband, Joseph, of Lansdale; two grandchildren, Joseph C. Stasen, Jr, and Courtney J. Coppola.
Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Donald F. McCammon.
There will be a viewing from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. Monday April 6, 2015, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, with the graveside service to follow 2:30 p.m. at Whitemarsh Memorial Park with military honors. For those desiring please make contributions in her name to her church at 1101 Cowpath Rd., Hatfield, PA 19440.
