Kathryn F. "Kay" Garner, 71, of Hatfield, died Friday, December 25, 2015.
Born June 30, 1944 in Lansdale, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth "Betty" (Boileau) Hemmerle and step-daughter of the late Lloyd Renninger.
Kay was employed as a billing manager with North Wales Water Authority for many years. Upon retirement, she spent over 20 years helping to raise her beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Mark W. Garner and his wife, Sheila, of Quakertown, and Shellie D. Mercado and her husband, David, of Ambler; daughter-in-law, Natalie Garner of Hatfield; brothers, Donald C. Hemmerle and Richard Hemmerle, both of Sarasota, FL; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
