Dina K. Al-Sarraf

Dina K. Al-Sarraf, 49, of Collegeville, died Thursday, March 2, 2017. She was the soulmate and beloved wife of Nader W. Shuhaibar.


Born July 20, 1967 in Kuwait, she was a daughter of Ghada Tarrzy, residing in Egypt, and the late Khalil Al-Sarraf.


Dina loved spending time with friends and family. She was a loving, caring, supportive, optimistic, giving person, sincere and dedicated, always putting others before herself.


Dina will be remembered for her unfailing productivity and strong work ethic. She enjoyed art, culture, museums, musical theaters, good food and traveling. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sharing her knowledge of history and arts with others.


Dina graduated from Boston University and worked as a financial analyst with Wells Fargo.


In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her sister, Maha Al Sarraf (Kingsley Griffin) of Dubai; brother, Ossama Al Sarraf of Los Angeles; brothers-in-law, Namik W. Shuhaibar (Rana), and Wael W. Shuhaibar (Suhair); sister-in-law, Lana Dina W. Shuhaibar; nieces and nephews, Zayd, Zeena, Layth, and Kayan; and cousins, Faisal, Samar, Noor, Yasmeen, and Tala.


Visitation will be held after 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at St. Philip Orthodox Church, 1970 Clearview Road, Souderton, PA 18964 followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the adjacent church cemetery. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.


A Mercy Meal will begin 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Joseph Ambler Inn, 1005 Horsham Road, North Wales. All are welcome.
