Amelia Murray Bulgarelli

Dec 23, 1938 — Sep 15, 2024

Amelia C. Murray Bulgarelli (nee Juhring), 85, of Hatfield, passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald J. Bulgarelli, who passed March 15, 2003.

Born December 23, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Amelia (nee Thomas) Juhring.  She was known as Amelia Murray or "Mim" and affectionately "Mom Mom" to her grandchildren.

Amelia graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School in 1956, where she played the clarinet in the band and sang in the chorus. Holding a special place in her heart, she remained active on committees at the school in her later years.

Amelia held administrative roles at North Penn Transfer, Moore Products and Merck and worked tirelessly to provide for her family.  She always made time for her children who were her pride and joy.  She was thoroughly devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed watching true crime shows on YouTube, cooking for family, friends and the poor. She loved her long talks with her dear friend Ricci. She attended weekly bingo on Wednesdays with her bingo friends, and she enjoyed sitting outside in her neighborhood talking with her neighbors.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lansdale, PA.  Throughout her life she was a Woman of Faith who rarely missed Mass.  She never said no to an opportunity to help those in need. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

She is survived by her children, Amelia Hosgood of Sellersville, PA, Maureen Parry of Harleysville, PA, and John Murray (Christine) of Plymouth, MA; her beloved grandchildren, Thomas Hosgood (Ann), Kimberly Martin (Michael), Danielle Hosgood, Richie Parry, Ryan Murray, Christopher Murray and Katherine Murray; and her great-grandchildren, Evelyn Hosgood, Tommy Hosgood and Jackson Martin.  She is also survived by her brother, Philip Juhring (Marie) of Woodstown, NJ; several nieces and nephews; and Donald's children, Robert, Michael, James, Kevin and Donna Marie Bulgarelli.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by brothers, Arthur Juhring and George Juhring; sister, Ellen Juhring; and son-in-law, Richard Parry.

Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.  Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John's Hospice, 1212 Race Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107, an organization Amelia felt strongly about.
