Barbara Rose

Barbara Rose passed away on March 28, leaving behind a life marked by resilience, compassion, and quiet strength.

Born in Lumberton, North Carolina, Barbara's journey carried her from the South to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and for a meaningful chapter of her life, to the islands of Hawaii. Wherever she lived, she brought with her a deeply rooted sense of purpose and care for others.

Barbara was a dedicated spiritual healer, offering guidance, comfort, and presence to those who crossed her path. Her kindness and generosity were felt not through grand gestures, but through steady, sincere acts of support and understanding.

One of her proudest accomplishments was maintaining more than 50 years of sobriety through Alcoholics Anonymous—a testament to her determination, courage, and enduring commitment to growth. She was a source of inspiration to many.

Barbara had a love for travel and discovery, embracing new places and experiences with an open heart. She will be remembered for her warmth, her giving spirit, and the quiet but powerful way she touched the lives of others.

Her survivors include three children, Robert J. Sobolusky, Jr, Somerspoint, NJ, Andrew Clark Sobolusky, Sr (Jane), Hatfield and Laura Sobolusky (Telford);  grandchildren, Robert J. Sobolusky III, Valerie Sobolusky and Danielle McAndrew; brother, Robert Clark.

Barb is predeceased by a grandson, Andrew C. Sobolusky, Jr.

The family welcomes all close family and friends to attend the services at 2:00 p.m. Friday,  April 24, 2026 at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446. There will be a greeting time from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
