Carol L. Venezia

Carol L. Venezia, 75, of Hatfield, passed away peacefully Thursday, February 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Salvatore J. Venezia who she married November 17, 1968.

Carol was a parishioner of St. Maria Goretti Church, Hatfield. Carol really loved to travel. She gained lots of enjoyment from shopping, or just stopping in various stores near where she lived. Carol found joy in spontaneously "getting up and dancing" with her grandkids or just spending time with her feline friends. Mostly, she adored her family and spending time with them, as well as her many friends. She welcomed all to her home and found much love and peace in entertaining everyone.

Along with her husband, she is survived by two children, Dena M. Venezia-Rogozinski (Harry), Philadelphia, and Jaime Benner (Brian), Perkiomenville; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Jacob Benner, Gabriella Venezia and Harry S. Rogozinski; brother-in-law, Edward Mirzoeff.

She is predeceased by a sister, Julia Mirzoeff.

The family will receive friends from 9 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Ave., Hatfield, PA 19440, with the Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Norristown.
