Fedora Mutone

Fedora Mutone, 96, of North Wales, passed away on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at her daughter's home, surrounded by her family.

Born in the serene seaside town of Ancona, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe Mutone and Olga Giustini.

While Fedora's childhood was marked by tumultuous times in Italy, it never stopped her parents from ensuring she and her sisters were cared for and loved. In her adult life, Fedora set sail for America to create a better life for her and her daughter. Fedora's work ethic upon settling in Philadelphia was only matched by her cynical humor, something imparted to her children and grandchildren alike. She was a talented seamstress by trade and worked for many years in and around Philadelphia to provide for her two children. During her free time, she loved to oil paint and sew, eventually becoming an active member of the Lansdale Senior Center. For Fedora, family was always her priority; being a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Surviving is her daughter Silvana Dell, wife of Jim; grandsons Branden Dell, husband of Savana, and Derrick Dell; and great granddaughter Nora. Along with her parents, she is predeceased by her son Johnny Mutone and sisters Valeria Liguri and Dolores Korsch.

Services and interment are private at the wishes of the family.
