Gary V. Hess Jr.

Gary V. Hess Jr., 62, of Harleysville, husband of Lynn (Gerczyk) Hess, passed away on Sunday, November 13 at his home.

Born in Lansdale, he was the son of Gary Vaughn Hess Sr and Thelma "Peggy" (McLamb) Hess of Lansdale.

Gary loved to watch baseball and enjoyed playing softball. He was the co-owner of Tel-Dat Communications in Hatfield with his wife for 31 years.

Surviving with his wife and parents is daughter Jamie Fischer (deceased Philip) of Lansdale; son Zachary Hess of Harleysville; sisters Patricia Troxel, wife of Jim, of Hatfield and Kathy Hess of Lansdale; grandsons Michael Fischer and Logan Fischer; niece Sheena Hess of Lansdale; nephew Christopher Troxel of Hatfield; and great nephew Scott Troxel.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 11:00AM at Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, with burial to follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00AM to 10:45AM at the funeral home.
