Herman "Joe" Kleiner Jr., 80, of Hatfield died Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at St. Mary Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

Born March 26, 1940 in Sellersville, he was the son of the late Herman and Ethel (Godshall) Kleiner.

His greatest joy in life was time spent with family.

Joe is survived by his wife, Helen (Quay/Barker) Kleiner, sister and spouse, William and Louise (Kleiner) Covelens; brother, Kevin Kleiner; 7 children/step-children and their spouses, Steven and Denise Kleiner, Susan (Kleiner) and Tony Shoaf, Stacey and Cheryl Kleiner, Sandy and Penny Kleiner, Shane and Angie Kleiner, Marc and Tara Barker, and Helena Barker; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Joe was owner and operator of Joe Kleiner Landscaping before retiring. His interests included hunting, fishing, spending time at his cabin in Tioga, PA. He was a lifetime member of multiple organizations including Safari Club International, PA Fed. of Sportsmen and Conservationists, Boulder Valley Sportsmen's Association, National Wild Turkey Federation, and the National Rifle Association. In addition, Joe was the founding member of a Bluegrass band, the New County Boys, of 25 years. Joe was also a member of Christ Covenant Church in Harleysville, PA.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
